What does it say about me when I skim through the Angel/hell parts, and only worry about Sam & Dean parts??? Didn't even care if I missed story points!

But...I did notice the lighting at various times, no not the red/pink "danger' lighting, but other scenes.

Off to read you assessment! lol :)

It's says much the same as many fans who basically watch for the SamnDean parts! The show with the angels and the demons is the one we have now, so we just gotta go with the flow...

I liked it. Not as good as it could have been, but not nearly as bad as it could have been either. To be honest, both Sam and Dean got off lightly (so far!).

Haven't read your review yet...but clicked on the pretty good option. For me on first viewing definitely nowhere near as fantastic as 10.2 but I think I went into this with pretty high expectations. Based on how good last week's episode was! The solution was all just a bit anti-climactic in the end. I'm relieved at the same time. I'm all a bit of a mixture of feelings on this one. Think I need to watch again.

That sums it up for me. I went in totally dreading it ( I gotta stop reading interviews!) so was so relieved when it didn't go where I thought it would. 10.02 was such a great episode, it was always going to be hard to follow it. Why do they keep giving those two writers the really important eps? And I love Jensen's directing but this was such a Dean heavy episode it would have benefited from having a director that wasn't also an actor (coming to grips with a new character).

That said I loved all the SamnDean stuff and even though we didn't get the final scene between them, I was so with Sam needing to take a damn walk. He'd just been verbally abuse and nearly killed by his brother. He deserved some time out...

(I'm actually looking forward to watching it again...*g*).
